Deliver value and support beyond the honour
In awarding honorary doctorates, Universities created an extraordinary resource that remains largely untapped. Honorary doctors can play an important role in advancing institutional goals and creating lasting value.
A University might be testing a strategy, trying to understand a sector, or looking to overcome a challenge. They need your help.
In answering the call to their challenge, you play a vital role in the advancement of the institution. Answer where you have something to add, and leave it where you do not. What you write goes to the chapter that asked. You can change it or remove it whenever you like.
In addition, not only can you help your University and chapter but you might be able to help Universities from across the globe. Challenges can come from anywhere, either from named or anonymous sources. If you can help, please do.

Fellowship is open to holders of an honorary doctorate from any recognised University in the world. How we check an institution.
What does it cost?
The first fifty Founding Fellows never pay. After that, Fellowship carries an annual fee, published before anyone is asked to pay. If your University has a chapter, it covers your first year. No card details are taken at application, and no one is charged automatically.
How is my award verified?
Every award is confirmed before Fellowship begins, either with the awarding University or from its published conferment records. We will keep you posted on where your application has reached, and we will tell you the outcome either way.

What happens after I apply?
We verify the award, either with your awarding institution directly or from published conferment records where that is quicker. Verification usually takes a few weeks.
